The City of Upland is totally off the rails! At the June 25th City Council Meeting, our City Attorney James Markmen lost control of himself and become verbally combative with Councilwoman Janice Elliott yet again. Unfortunately for him, Elliott showed she will no longer take his abuse, so he better learn to check himself! Councilmen Sid Robinson told the free world he is NOT running in 2018 and District 1, is now totally out of luck for no reason! Thanks Sid, couldn’t you have said that on 10/23/17 when you voted for an election schedule scheme, which allowed you to run in 2018, verses you having to wait 2 years to run again, which resulted in 18,050 Upland residents having NO representation at all, on Upland’s City Council?

Stone, Filippi, Timm, Robinson (Upland) Just SUED Residents Opposed To Memorial Park SALE, Explains Elliott’s CENSURE & LITIGATION COMMITTEE TO BLOCK Elliott’s Participation!

The City of Upland just SUED its residents who are opposed to the Memorial Park Sale of 4.63 acres to become a future parking structure, which includes the only city council member who voted against the sale, being the CENSURED last week, Janice Elliott. This article is really a continuation of why our city council just censured Councilwoman Janice Elliott last week, so if you haven’t read that article, it may be helpful to refer to it first, here.

THEY PAVED PARADISE AND PUT UP A PARKING LOT, in Memorial Park, Without A Public Hearing! City Council Approved $4.2 Million Dollar Deal, To Sell 4.63 Acres of Park Property!

The Upland City Council meeting on 3/26 was yet another fiasco for The City of Upland! The meeting’s agenda lacked all transparency, stating the property for sale was located at 1299 San Bernardino Rd, yet omitted the words MEMORIAL PARK! The sale of 4.63 acres of public park, open space for $4.2 MILLION DOLLARS, lacked a PUBLIC HEARING & A VOTE BY THE RESIDENTS OF UPLAND! And the front page of the city’s agenda, stated it was posted for public view, in accordance with the law, 72 hours before the city council meeting, in the State of Hawaii!
